Job opportunities
Our department has ample job opportunities. Freshman students can work
in helping labs and other things. Sophomore students can be a teaching
assistant and/or a beginning research assistant. In some sense,
these positions are almost guaranteed. Junior and senior students can
work as an active research assistant with the opportunities to go to
conferences or simply enjoy working as a teaching assistant to gain
experience for landing a teaching job.

Voice of Physics (VOP)
Voice of Physics or VOP is a departmental mail service. It sends news
and events to all students, faculty and staff members on weekly basis.
All students, major or minor in physics, should register with Dr.
Zhang. VOP also keeps a contact with alumni.
This page is currently maintained by
Dr. Guoping Zhang. Should you have any questions, please send him an
e-mail.
